Dan Joblin
Civil Engineering Manager
After working in land development design/survey, Dan gained his New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Civil) in 2012 and now leads Strata Groups civil engineering team to deliver large scale infrastructure and land development projects across Hawkes Bay and New Zealand.
20 years of experience in the design and construction industry across local government, iwi groups and private sectors has provided Dan with a comprehensive range of civil engineering skills and a wide network of industry contacts. Dan has in-depth experience in roading, Three Waters infrastructure, land development and building services. His background in surveying has provided him with an excellent understanding of civil engineering from the ground up. Dan’s ability to identify both regulatory and environmental constraints and quickly provide potential design solutions to stakeholders is a major asset along with achieving quality design outcomes from both a commercial and sustainability standpoint.
Originally from a farming background in the Wairarapa, Dan is passionate about natural and built environments and ensuring positive environmental outcomes are considered, implemented and maintained for future generations.
