About the Role
Strata Group Consulting Engineers are excited to advertise an opportunity for a dynamic and passionate Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team. You will be encouraged to embrace challenges and progress your career whilst learning from industry leaders.
Strata Group is a highly regarded multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a robust structural and civil engineering track record. Our team of over 30 dedicated professionals, operate from our office in the scenic Hawkes Bay.
We invite you to be part of our journey towards engineering excellence. In this role, you will have the chance to showcase your technical knowledge, keen eye for detail and strong interest in producing and reviewing civil drawings. Your role will involve a combination of the following:
Assist engineers with on-site matters including site measure up and recording and construction monitoring
Work collaboratively with civil designers and other engineers to produce high-quality engineering documentation
Provide civil engineering design and drawing expertise on a variety of client projects
Assist with civil design elements of residential, commercial and industrial developments from concept to consenting and construction
Assist with land development projects from concept to consenting and construction
Assist with coordination and distribution of contract documents
Ideally you will have just completed or already hold a four-year Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, or you have one - three years of New Zealand experience in a related field. You need to have the ability to work cohesively in a team environment. This is a busy role where you will be juggling multiple projects at once. An interest in software coding and the use of AI models will be considered favourably.
