Annual salary: $55,000 - $65,000
Strata Group is a highly regarded multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a robust structural and civil engineering track record. Our team of over 30 dedicated professionals operate from our office in the scenic Hawkes Bay. We invite you to be part of our journey towards engineering excellence. In this role, you will have the chance to showcase your technical knowledge, keen eye for detail and strong interest in producing and reviewing structural documentation.
Your role will involve a combination of the following:
Assist in the design of residential, commercial and industrial building structures from concept through to consenting and construction.
Assist seismic assessment and retrofit design of existing building structures.
Work collaboratively with draughtspersons and other design consultants to produce high-quality engineering documentation on time within budget.
Communicate with clients, construction contractors and other design consultants to achieve positive project outcomes.
Assist with site measure ups and construction monitoring.
You will have recently completed, or already hold, a four-year Bachelor of Engineering degree (or equivalent). Ideally you will bring one – three years of experience in a related field within New Zealand. Success in this role requires the ability to work cohesively in a team environment, as you will be supporting multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Salary will reflect your knowledge, skills and relevant work experience.
