Intermediate Architectural Cad Technician

About the role

Strata Group Consulting Engineers are excited to advertise an opportunity for an experienced, motivated and forward-thinking intermediate level Architectural CAD Technician keen to progress their career alongside experienced engineers and industry leaders in our Hastings team.

You will bring at least 5 years' experience as an architectural draughtsperson in New Zealand, with a strong technical knowledge of construction and a proven understanding of the New Zealand Building Code and Standards. While your primary focus will be architectural draughting, experience in structural draughting will be highly regarded.

The key focus of this role is producing high-quality architectural drawings, consent documentation, detailed design packages and technical specifications across a wide variety of commercial, industrial and residential projects. You will have the confidence and proven knowledge to navigate code compliance requirements and deliver accurate and coordinated documentation from concept through to consent and construction.

Strata Group Consulting Engineers is a 100% Kiwi-owned, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong structural and civil engineering track record and a growing team of 30+ staff based in our Hastings office.
