Luke is a Structural Engineer leading the Commercial team and holds extensive experience and expertise in building science and legislative requirements of the New Zealand construction industry including consultancy and local government consenting. With a strong background in applying technological solutions to solve problems, Luke is also responsible for the firm’s technological efficiency and effectiveness.

KEY PROJECTS & ACHIEVEMENTS

• Senior Structural Engineer, Joll Road Havelock North, Murrayfield Properties, 2018 – Present: Lead structural engineer responsible for structural design for two new multi-storey, mixed-use retail and office developments in Havelock North, constructed over two stages.  Concept design is currently underway for future stages 3 - 5

• Senior Structural Engineer Marine Village Expansions, Orams Marine Services, 2019 – Present: Senior Structural Engineer and Strata Group team management for structural design and delivery for a $100 million superyacht refurbishment facility and two multi-storey, mixed-use buildings, including retail, office, workshop development and car parking

• Senior Structural Engineer, Civic Administration Building, Te Whare Hono O Tuwharetoa, 2021 – Present: Luke is the Strata Group manager and lead engineer responsible for structural design for a new Civic Administration building in Taupo. The project involves innovative low damage design detailing. Structures were designed for Importance Level 4
