Cad Team Leader

About the role

Strata Group Consulting Engineers are excited to advertise an opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and forward-thinking senior draughtsperson/CAD Team Leader to join our Hastings team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and mentor our CAD technicians while continuing to develop your own career working alongside experienced engineers and industry leaders.

You will bring 5+ years’ experience as a structural draughtsperson in New Zealand, along with proven leadership capability mentoring or supporting CAD technicians. As the CAD Team Leader, you will provide leadership and technical guidance to our drafting team, mentoring technicians, promoting best practice and ensuring consistent, high-quality drawing production across a variety of projects. You will have strong REVIT modelling and documentation experience, along with a solid understanding of BIM workflows and structural documentation standards.

This role requires excellent technical knowledge of construction and the New Zealand Building Code and relevant Standards to confidently produce structural drawings, details and technical documentation while ensuring projects meet code compliance requirements.

Strata Group Consulting Engineers is a 100% Kiwi-owned, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong structural and civil engineering track record and a growing team of 30+ staff based in our Hastings office.
