Intermediate Structural Engineer

In this role, you will have the chance to showcase your technical excellence and passion for leadership whilst learning from industry leaders. Your role will involve a combination of the following:

• Structural design of residential, commercial and industrial structures from concept through consenting and construction.

• Seismic assessment and retrofit design of existing building structures from concept through consenting and construction.

• Site measure-up and construction monitoring.

• Work collaboratively and support technical and professional development to produce high-quality engineering documentation.

• Assist with managing clients, consultants, design teams and job finances to achieve positive project outcomes.

Strata Group believe in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone’s contributions are valued. This role will suit a Structural Engineer with a 4-year Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and ideally 3-5 years of New Zealand work experience. You will need a proven background in structural design, mentoring of staff and proficiency in ETABS will be advantageous.
