In this role, you will have the chance to showcase your technical excellence and passion for leadership whilst learning from industry leaders. Your role will involve a combination of the following:
Structural design of residential, commercial and industrial structures from concept through consenting and construction.
Seismic assessment and retrofit design of existing building structures from concept through consenting and construction.
Site measure-up and construction monitoring.
Work collaboratively and support technical and professional development to produce high-quality engineering documentation.
Assist with managing clients, consultants, design teams and job finances to achieve positive project outcomes.
Strata Group believe in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone’s contributions are valued. This role will suit a Structural Engineer with a 4-year Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and ideally 3-5 years of New Zealand work experience. You will need a proven background in structural design, mentoring of staff and proficiency in ETABS will be advantageous.
