About the role
Strata Group Consulting Engineers has an exciting opportunity for an experienced admin superstar who is eager to make a meaningful impact by providing support to our management and technical teams. In this role, you will be encouraged to embrace challenges and take ownership of responsibilities to ensure tasks are effectively coordinated and completed to a high standard. Strata Group is a highly regarded multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a robust structural and civil engineering track record. Our team of over 35 dedicated professionals operates from our Hastings office.
This is a part time role (24 hours per week) ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced office environment. You will work within a supportive team while also managing key responsibilities independently, contributing to the companies journey towards engineering excellence.
This varied role includes:
Being the first connection to Strata Group receiving incoming phone calls and welcoming visitors to the office
Assess and action incoming emails and correspondence
Carry out key office operations to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office
Assist with accounts payable and receivables, including reconciling statements and supporting monthly invoicing
Support the Management team with project documentation and marketing material using Microsoft Office software
Assist the Civils team with project delivery by coordinating client communications, monitoring and communicating project deliverables and resourcing requirements
You will have proven experience working in an office environment and exposure to the responsibilities above will be advantageous. You will be confident in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel with the ability to learn new systems and platforms quickly. Most importantly, you are someone who enjoys working collaboratively, is willing to give things a go and is committed to achieving results.
