Strata Group is a highly regarded multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a robust structural and civil engineering track record. Our team of over 30 dedicated professionals, operate from our office in the scenic Hawkes Bay.

In this role, you will have the chance to showcase your technical excellence including report writing and passion for leadership. Your role will involve a combination of the following:

  • Civil design of residential, commercial and industrial developments from concept to consenting and construction.

  • Assist with land development projects from concept to consenting and construction.

  • Assist with managing clients, design teams and job finances to achieve positive project outcomes.

  • Work collaboratively with clients, associated consultants and local authorities to produce high-quality engineering documentation on time and within budget.

  • Technical report writing, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

  • Contract management and construction monitoring.

Strata Group believe in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone’s contributions are valued. This role will suit a Civil Design Engineer with a four-year Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and ideally three -five years of NZ work experience. You will need a proven background in civil design, report writing and proficiency working within a New Zealand regulatory framework. A background in hydraulic modelling and/or CPEng status will be considered favourably.
